Well now we're thinking about Street again now that I blew up the Modified...lol   WHAT TO DO?

Sep 23 2009 06:02 pm
Who-ever is wondering if I'm going back to street stock, the answer is officially No. We have decided to keep the Modified and I will be driving next year.   Kenny Snow

Sep 23 2009 06:00 pm
For anyone who may be wondering I will be behind the wheel of our Ford Fusion on Saturday for the open. Randy had a great end to the year, the car finally stopped breaking and stayed together long enough to get a win, and some really good finishes over the last three weeks. Considering we missed two weeks of feature racing due to a bad engine, and considering the car was purposely run over twice under caution by two different drivers, we ended up with a pretty good year. A solid top ten and the car still looks pretty good. I have been going nuts watching the races instead of driving but this weekend will hopefully fill the void. Good luck to all Modified Drivers.....I'M BACK BITCHES.....lol

Hickox-Snow racing posted its first win of the 2009 season in dominant fashion on Monday afternoon at Oyster Bed Speedway. We started off the afternoon with a third place finish and followed it up with a win in the second race of the day. Congratulations Randy on your win and Thank You to all of our sponsors for making this all possible for us.

May 8 2009 04:20 am
Randy, a word to the wise...do not let your competition help you put in your motor....even if it is your brother...lol. I hope you get your engine on time, give me a call i'll give you a hand if you need it as well. Rick, I bought my radio (scanner) down in the states when I was there. But you can buy one at any electronic store like radio shack or circut city. All you need is a scanner as it is not 2 way communication. Mine is a Nascar scanner...I hope this helps, Kenny

Apr 27 2009 08:27 am
ED...my appologies, I was not calling you a wine ass....lol. Long before you posted on here we had other individuals trying to cause crap. You did bring up a valid point and I hope I explained it the best I could. I did leave your message on here about your question. The reason I deleted some of your other messages on top of a few others was because I have to make a point about the fact that if people won't own up to who they are then we're not interested in their opinions. However your point on safety was a good one so I left it and answered it the best I could. Again my appologies and again if you have any ideas please contact me. Oh, and by the way did everyone see the race yesterday....it was AWESOME, 55 and 2 both had their spin outs right in front of us at 200 miles an hour and both saved their cars. Also when the 99 hit the fence it was right in front of us....8 people injured but it didn't hurt us. It was a wild crash the only time I ever seen anything like it was when Kent Livingstone did the same thing at 100 miles an hour at our track. See you all when I get home.

Apr 26 2009 04:26 pm
ya, nice to see you all stick together .. anyways, "mr snow" like i said earlier in one of my messages, which u deleted, i wasn't 100% sure of WHAT safety measures Raceway Park/kenny snow   had in place. Thank you for clearing that up for us.I don't think being concerned about safety make me a whiner or asshole or whatever it was you called me. thanks for that.have a good season.Ed

Apr 26 2009 07:22 am
Well spoken Mr.Kenny, people just dont have a clue what it takes to make racing happen week to week at a small based track and like you said no one makes you race its a choice, dont like it race somewhere else!!!             Randy #67

Apr 25 2009 04:49 pm
OK OK OK, first of all ED i don't really know who you are so I deleted most of your messages. If you really have concerns and can offer solutions then by all means post again or contact me in person, I'd love to talk. Since the late 90's we havent been able to get or afford to get an ambulance to Raceway Park. When we did have an ambulance and or fire fighters on scene it was 1500.00 a night. Now that we can't hire EMS we have gone with a medical first responder. So we have trained firefighters and medics at the track for every event. At the facility we supply over 8 fire extinguishers in designated spots and every driver is to have one as well. For medical we have back boards, defib, oxygen, etc, all the supplies that would be needed to secure a driver or fan who has been injured until transport arrives. If you have a better idea i'm all ears. That's all we have for now unless someone else has a solution. If your not a driver I guess you really don't have anything to shoot off about. If there are any drivers that won't race because of our medical standards then by all means don't; we are not forcing anyone to race. We welcome all drivers and all ideas but cry babies and wine asses that have nothing better to do then cause shit are not welcome here. Kenny Snow....A driver who cares about racing, safety, and fun.

Apr 24 2009 06:43 pm
how came all these people can rant and rave about different issues, but there are only a few that have the guts to sign there names? Rick#17

Apr 24 2009 05:59 pm
Someone on here says you can't rent the ambulance? Ya, ok then. Will someone explain to me how there was an ambulance at Raceway Park every race meet during the 1990's??? As far as I'm concerned, anyone that has a problem with what I'm saying about the Safety issue must not race or have a friend/family member racing. How could you pretty much say who gives a f..k? and about the racers joining Modified with very little or no experience. That shows to me that I guess to drive a Modified requires little skill. that also explains why they skip street stock cause thats where the real skill is needed. its the best class anywhere.

Apr 23 2009 09:28 pm
Hey Mr.street stock, obviously I never had a street stock? Whatever! Check your glasses, YES it is correct costs are higher, much higher and if they were not it wouldnt take them such a long time to finally make the plunge? As far as hard work and dedication from team members I said nothing about, but why dont you buy a modified and see if you can street stock it around the turns cause it will be funny...LOL!!!Prostock #51~jackass!

Apr 23 2009 09:13 pm
Hey guys if you are waiting for an answer from Kenny it will be at least a week or more as he is gone to Talledaga for the race(and he is driving). If it is any help I know Kenny and Darryl were making sure proper insurance and safety measures would be in place, the details of exactly what I am not sure.         Randy #67

Apr 23 2009 07:47 pm
well kenny i have to agree with Ed on this one, what is the scoop on safety, are we gonna have an ambulance or not? i don't know about you,but as for myself if i happen to hit the wall at full speed i would feel much safer with an ambulance there rather than know they are someplace in queens county. yours truly Rick#17

Apr 23 2009 05:43 pm
just wanting to know if there is some   experience for sale or where i could buy some . if you could let me know befor racing starts that would be grate .thanks benjy 71

Apr 22 2009 05:47 pm
no offence Ed,but some of the best modified drivers never even sat in a stockcar until they climbed into a modified.just because benjy only raced for fun doesn't mean he won't be able to handle a modified. maybe he can and maybe he can't, only time will tell i'm just glad to see more cars back on the track. Rick #17

Apr 19 2009 06:30 pm
streetstock #17 will be comming back,it was bought by mitch millar.good luck with her. Rick#17
